Fannie

Am/Can Ch. Anji Rohan Miss Fantan 10/10/97 - 2//01/10

(Ch. Fiesta's Read 'Em And Weep x Ch. Honore's Blu Sky Of Rohan)

Fannie was our very first Italian Greyhound.  We acquired her from Jim and Angie Leonard as a young puppy.  Being a very smart and conniving iggie, Fannie made showing a challenge to say the least.  She managed to get her American and Canadian Championships in grand style in spite of herself .

In November of 2009 Fannie was diagnosed with cancer.  She lived 3 happy months after her diagnosis.  We lost her on February 1,2010.  She was so very special to us and our hearts are broken.  We'll never forget her.

TOP  PRODUCER

We are forever grateful to Edwina Martin and Mary Ann Smart for allowing us to bring Bali into our lives in 2000.

She obtained her American and Canadian Championships quickly after we brought her home.  Bali became a Top Producer in 2003 after having only two litters.  Her last was an all-champion litter.  Her grandson, CJ (Am/Can Ch. Pineridge Trophy Hunt), was the #1 IG in American in 2009.  Her legacy continues through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bali loved to show and won many Veterans classes at the National Specialties through the years.  In 2004 she received an Award of Merit at the National Specialty.  She also was Best Veteran in Sweeps at the 2008 Specialty.

In March of 2010 it was necessary to remove her gall bladder and, although she had many good months with us after that, she never fully recovered.  She began failing in October and the time came to let her go on November 5, 2010.  We miss her more than we could ever have imagined and she's left a huge hole in our hearts.

Casper CGC-TD

Our hearts are breaking as we add another one of our precious girls to this page.

Casper was in every sense of the word a 'family dog'.  She watched over grandchildren and puppies alike, followed us through the house to make sure we made it okay :), and guarded us from our bed every night.

We lost her on June 10th, 2011 very suddenly due to a blood clot.  Our only condolence is that she was active and happy for 16+ years until the moment she passed away........and that is the best we can wish for all of our dogs.

"Island"

Am/Can Ch. Rohan's Saint Jolenta    2-24-98 - 1-2-2014

(Ch. Winsapphire's Dimitri Debo x Ch. Rohan's Not A Lady)

Sadly, we lost our precious girl, Island, just a few weeks short of her 16th birthday.  Island was such an inspiration to us.  She was both blind and deaf for the past 3 1/2 years, but she never complained, nor acted like it bothered her one bit.  She showed us how to face things that we can't control and persevere.  Although her quality of life changed over the past few years, she looked forward to each and every day.  We love you, Island, and we'll miss you terribly.
